In order to participate in the improvement of the regulatory framework of the industry and to adapt it to the internationally recognized out-of-court debt recovery practice, SIA “GS Core” has joined and participates in the Latvian Out-of-Court Debt Recovery Association.

The Swedish financial holding company Marginalen AB, based on EU decisions aimed at reducing the share of non-performing loans (NPL) in Europe, decided to establish new companies in all 3 Baltic countries - SIA “GS Core”, UAB “GS Core ”, OŪ“ GS Core ”. The purpose of the business activities of the newly established companies is to purchase the purchase of bad assets that have entered the secondary market and to organize their recovery in the long run.

The business objectives of the companies concerned are in line with the European Union's development strategy, as set out, inter alia, in the European Commission's final report on tackling non-performing loans COM (2020) 822

*** The calculation assumes that:
1) the legal process lasts 6-8 months;
2) the claim is satisfied, but the client voluntarily does not comply with the court decision and the court decision is transferred to a sworn bailiff (ZTI);
3) the customer repays the debt within a year after the notification of ZTI on the obligation to fulfill the decision;
4) the remuneration of the office of the ZTI and the costs of execution of the judgment (including VAT) are calculated in accordance with the currently valid regulatory enactments.
